The Society Islands are a gathering of “high islands” which, other than Tahiti (the largest in French Polynesia), incorporate Moorea, an island with lush vegetation featuring two sublime bays, Huahine with its rich scenery and rich archeological legacy, and Raiatea, a sacred island, which is considered the cultural support of Polynesia. From Raiatea, you can pass by vessel to Tahaa, a protected island with a special culture.
