What changed in 2026
Updated 14 October 2026 by Normand Schafer, Far & Away Adventures — South Pacific travel specialist since 1996. Fares checked against Air Tahiti's published pass fares.
Air Tahiti replaced its multi-island passes for travel from 1 April 2026. If you've read about the Discovery, Bora Bora or Lagoons Pass, this is what to book now.
| Old pass name | Current pass |
|---|---|
| Discovery Pass (Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea) | Maeva Pass from Tahiti, or Monoï Pass from Moorea |
| Bora Bora Pass | Maeva Pass / Monoï Pass |
| Bora Bora Pass + Maupiti / Bora Maupiti Pass | Maupiti Pass |
| Lagoons Pass (Society + Tuamotu) | Reva Pass from Tahiti, or Fenua Pass from Moorea |
| Bora Tuamotu / Tuamotu passes | Tuamotu Pass or Reva Pass |
| Marquesas Pass | Marquesas Pass (same name) |
| Australes Pass | Austral Pass |
The new range splits most passes by starting island (Tahiti or Moorea) and adds the Reva and Fenua passes that combine the Society Islands with the Tuamotu atolls. Extensions to the Marquesas (from €712), the Austral Islands (from €474) and Rarotonga (from €474) can be added to a pass, which stretches its validity from 28 to 40 days.
